A new update is imminent for Hogwarts Legacy

Despite its absence from The Game Awards, it would be dishonest not to recognize that Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most notable games of the year 2023. In addition to having smashed numerous sales records, the game allowed fans of the Harry Potter universe to finally have something to enjoy the tooth. Between the combat system (simple but effective), the reproduction of Hogwarts and the feeling of living a real adventure worthy of the wizards of the most famous school of magic in the West, the game had many qualities to please fans . However, while it has been out for over a year, the developers have been very quiet regarding potential additional content. A few days ago, they finally broke their silence thanks to a message posted on Twitter:

Penny has a new quest in store for you. The question is, do you have the courage to accept it?

Those who played Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5 will quickly notice: this tweet indicates very clearly that the quest previously exclusive to Sony players will soon be accessible on other machines. As a reminder, the latter was called “Take care of your cauldron” and offered the player to go on an adventure in the middle of haunted house in the village of Hogsmeade. The quest was very well received by players and some even described it as one of the best quests in the game. Excellent news for those who were not able to do so when the game was released. The update is not currently available, but it should arrive in the coming days.

New content on the horizon?

For the moment, the only “additional content” that Hogwarts Legacy players will be able to do seems to be limited to this quest. While PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch players will surely be happy with this addition, Sony players may well be disappointed. Do not panic, the developers still seem to have other surprises in store:
