A new update has been released for Hogwarts Legacy, which is now available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, but also for Xbox One and PS4. In addition to over 500 bug fixes, there is now a new mode.

As the developers report on Twitter, there is a special arachnophobia mode that is supposed to make spiders look a lot less scary.

With the update, the spiders are no longer hairy and dark, but smooth and red. In addition, the animals in the new mode no longer make any noises or just jump out of the ground.

If you kill a spider, the dead animal’s body will disappear immediately instead of lying there. The animals don’t have legs anymore either, only roller skates and that reminds a lot of Ron’s Boggart in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”.
