On Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy (from its full name), developed by Avalanche Software, we have the possibility of moving on a hippogriff as well as on a magic broom. Moreover, in view of the presence of the broom on the title and in one of the trailers, the players wonder if they can participate and play in a match of Quidditch.
Is Quidditch available on Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, Quidditch is not available on Hogwarts Legacy. On this subject, on the official website, and more precisely in the FAQ, we can read the following mention:
No, you cannot play Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy. However, broomstick flying is a form of transportation, and broomstick racing challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly broomsticks to explore new and familiar locations around Hogwarts castle.
So, as you will understand, it will not be possible to play Quidditch on Hogwarts Legacy. We do not yet know if this will be made possible in the future, via potential updates and/or extensions. However, if this is the case, we will, of course, keep you informed.
The absence of Quidditch on Hogwarts Legacy is a pity. This “sport”, in which two teams of seven players compete, is important in the Harry Potter universe. the Quidditch is, moreover, represented in several Harry Potter books and films, in particular in Harry Potter at the Sorcerer’s School or in the fifth part entitled Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, to cite only these two examples.
Hogwarts Legacy arrives February 10 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. The release date for the PS4 and Xbox One versions has been postponed and is now set for April 4 this year, while the title will make its way to Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023.
