Hogwarts Legacy is still slated to arrive in late 2022, although we still don’t have a specific date. However, things could speed up, given that hidden information on the official site mentions the content that should be available with certain editions. This therefore gives us an overview of what players will be able to get by pre-ordering the title or by purchasing a special edition.
As Reddit user opalelement explains, by going to the official site and viewing the source code of the page, we could, before the site was updated, find various mentions of cosmetic items and other items obtainable through special versions of Hogwarts Legacy. Here is what could be found:
- A Thestral Mount
- A Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack
- One Dark Arts Battle Pack
- A Dark Arts hat
- A “Kelpy Dress”
- A steel case (probably for a physical version)
- A book and a magic wand (probably for a physical version)
- 72 Hours Early Access (Pre-Order Bonus)
This information is no longer visible in the source code at present, as the error has been fixed, but we were able to take a screenshot (above), of part of it. This can therefore make us hope for an announcement quickly, whether it is simply on the different editions or a release date. We will know, whatever happens, more soon.
