Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy was released at the start of the year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, then shortly after on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, not without some concessions on the quality of the graphics. But now Warner Bros. Games And Avalanche Software bring their action and adventure game into the universe of Harry Potter on Nintendo Switch, it’s witchcraft.

The textures are messy, many lighting effects have disappeared, open spaces have been closed by stone walls to limit the elements to be displayed, many compromises have been made to achieve this port. Furthermore, you also have to count on a large number of loadings, almost absent on other consoles, but which can take up to 42 seconds on Nintendo Switch to load a new area!
Regarding the resolution, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy displays 720p most of the time on Switch, but still drops to 540p at times… Without anti-aliasing unlike other platforms, it’s very ugly, especially on a large television with the dock, but in mode Portable, it goes. On the side of frame ratethe game aims for 30 fps and gets there… but not all the time, we must count on falls of frame rate very regularly.
Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy on Switch, so it’s rather ugly, with a huge downgrade compared to other consoles which breaks the immersion, but at least the title is available for those who only have the console Nintendo on hand.
