Hogwarts Legacy: The different graphics modes on PS5 and Xbox Series are revealed

Waiting to find out if Hogwarts Legacy don’t make us one Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 on older generation consoles, we’re still waiting to see how the game will run on newer machines. Warner Bros Games and Portkey Games yesterday shared the system requirements to play comfortably on PC, and we are now entitled to more details regarding the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game.

PS5 and Xbox Series versions at the level?

Like almost all games of the moment, Hogwarts Legacy will be entitled to several display modes for its console versions. If for the moment, Portkey Games does not go into details, a new article on the game’s FAQ lets us know that Hogwarts Legacy will have at leasta Fidelity mode with a display at 30 frames per second, while the Performance mode will unlock the framerate to aim for 60 frames per second. The resolution of each of these modes is not yet known, but we imagine 4K in the first case and 1080p in the second.

Furthermore, we are informed that the game will support VRR technology for compatible TVs. We don’t yet know if this will make it possible to choose a graphics mode halfway between Fidelity and Performance, but we hope so.

Hogwarts Legacy will be released on February 10 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It will then arrive on April 4 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, then on July 25 on Nintendo Switch.
