Hogwarts Legacy is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of this end of the year. Warner’s game will immerse its players in the fantastic universe of the famous Harry Potter saga, allowing budding wizards to learn about magic.
But while some gameplay images and snippets were unveiled recently, fans are now waiting a specific release date. A few days ago, Warner Bros announced, through a trailer, the arrival of the game “end of 2022”. An exit window that reassured players who feared a postponement.
Today is a Hogwarts Legacy making-of artbook that may well have left leak the release date of the game.
The artbook gaffe
The entire Hogwarts Legacy community is waiting for any information about the game’s release date. For this, some go so far as to search in every little corner of the internet… to sometimes come across a nugget!
On Reddit, a user indicates having consulted the Amazon UK file of an artbook-making of, entitled The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World. This artbook was previously announced, but its release date was recently changed to December 6, 2022.
December 6 is a Tuesday, and as several gamers point out, every Warner Bros game this year released on a Tuesday. A nice coincidence that was enough to set fire to the powder and thus, many believe that Hogwarts Legacy is indeed scheduled for December 6th.
Another potential proof, the fact that Warner Bros has planned to publish an artbook of the same type for the game Gotham Knight the same day as its release, next Tuesday, October 25. Although Warner has not yet given an official date and of course we have to take the information with a grain of salt, we can’t help but think that… It’s weird !
The artbook had already leaked a release date
Few months ago, The Rowling Library announced the release of his Hogwarts Legacy artbook. This is the same as the one we talked about previously, except that before the date was changed to December 6, it was set to next September 6.
The mention of “return of the wizards” being ubiquitous in the promotion of the game, the players had therefore planned a release in early September, at the same time as the return of muggles. However, this date has just been changed.
Fans of the license, kept in suspense for a few months already, will still have to arm themselves with a little patience therefore, and hope for an official announcement from Warner Bros in the weeks that follow.
