We are all waiting for the announcement of the official release of the game Hogwarts Legacyplanned for 2022. The open-world action RPG set in the Harry Potter universe has everyone drooling, whether fans or newcomers to the universe. It can be understood, an open-world with griffins and magic brooms, does that make you want? To us too, and an artbook published by Insight Editions can tell us more about the release of the title.
Where does this artbook come from?
We cling to a rather meager element, and to make any disclaimer, this is not an official announcement for the release of the game. But according to information from The Rowling Library site, this artbook based on the universe ofHogwarts Legacy comes out on September 6, which could ultimately give us an idea of the video game’s release date.
The English version of this artbook is currently called “The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy”, and it is written by Jody Revenson, one of the main authors of Wizarding World. Hogwarts Legacy moreover was supposed to be released in 2021, but the game has (obviously) been pushed back to 2022, with no date set yet.
We still hope that the game will be released this year, because it is almost certain that this artbook will accompany the release of the game, or that it will be published some time after. Nevertheless, we are still a bit pessimistic. The title is still very ambitious, and we still prefer that it be postponed to be perfect, rather than being unplayable on release.
Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for release this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
