Spells, magical creatures, exploration of the open world or customization of its wizard or witch, Hogwarts Legacy: The Legacy of Hogwarts offers a very extensive content that many fans are eager to try.
Hogwarts Legacy: does the trailer in French bring anything new?
No, it’s exactly the same English trailer that was shown during State of Play on Thursday March 17, 2022. So no new images or additional gameplay session. On the other hand, it allows you to better understand the scenario and the different features offered thanks to the narrator being dubbed in French. If you did not understand the trailer the first time, this is the opportunity to listen to it again to have more information on the Room of Requirement, for example, the names of the characters and emblematic places of Hogwarts, the combat system and more.
Hogwarts’ best teacher is the trailer’s narrator
Speaking of dubbing, did you recognize the voice of the French gameplay trailer narrator? It’s none other than the actor Guillaume Lebonrenowned for his dubbing of Professor Remus Lupine in the Harry Potter movies (and a bunch of other dubs of course, we’ll let you check out his Wikipedia page).
Even if it makes sense, the real important information of this VF trailer is displayed at the very beginning: Hogwarts Legacy will be fully dubbed in French. For the moment, only English voices have therefore been added to the RPG, but by the end of the year (release date), we will be able to listen to the teachers and other students of Hogwarts in French. We can’t wait to find out which actors will be chosen to perform this dubbing and we hope that the lip-sync (lip synchronization) will be of quality.
