During last night’s State of Play, Thursday March 17, Hogwarts Legacy received a long presentation video to learn more about the adventure developed by Avalanche Software. It was also composed of gameplay sequences, illustrating the spells and the fights, which await the players.
Following this presentation, we were treated to another behind-the-scenes video with the developers. They thus clarified certain points and provided more answers. They also mentioned the fact that Hogwarts Legacy wants to be a AAA RPG. At this mention alone, many people have wondered whether or not there are microtransactions in the game.
Avalanche Software’s Community Manager, Chandler Wood, wanted to answer them. Via a post on Twitter, he thus confirmed the absence of microtransactions on Hogwarts Legacy.
We’ve seen this question coming up and want to set the record straight.
