- You can use equipment such as capes and field caps right from the start.
- The flying animals, on the other hand, will only be unlocked later.
Hogwarts Legacy has been released in different editions. If you have bought the Deluxe Edition, you will receive various exclusive items in the “Harry Potter” role-playing game.
But the bonuses in the form of mounts, potions, and gear aren’t easily recognizable as such, and you might have overlooked them, too.

Some bonuses are only unlocked as you progress through the game, but part of the Dark Arts Pack is available to use as soon as you arrive at Hogwarts.
The field cap, cloak, and other Dark Arts attire are not items of equipment that you find in your inventory. You can transform existing equipment into this one.
The initial values of the piece of equipment remain the same, because only the visuals change. To be able to wear the cloak of the dark arts, you go to the menu item “Equipment”, select your cloak, for example, and select the item “Change appearance”.
