Hollow Knight Silksong gives his news, it’s not a joke

We got some news about Hollow Knight: Silksong, and no, it’s not a joke. He is still alive. And apparently, he’s doing quite well.

Among the best-known Arlesians in video games, we find Hollow Knight Silksong. It’s become a running joke. As soon as there is a conference, regardless of the publisher or the studio, we see fans rushing to watch it for a very specific purpose: to see the new opus again. A release date is desired, as are new images. But as you know, it’s a game that’s discreet. Team Cherry doesn’t often show signs of life, but against all odds, it finally happened a few days ago. So, where is the next step?

Hollow Knight Silksong development is proceeding quietly

Unlike other productions in the works, Hollow Knight Silksong likes to stay in the shadows. To give you a clearer idea, its last trailer was two years ago. Just that. Some people even wonder if he is still alive. The answer is yes, and it was one of the members of the studio who confirmed it. Mind you, he didn’t reveal anything major about the game. Otherwise, the Web would be on fire right now. However, what he reports will probably reassure more than one person.

It was Matthew Griffin, the man who handles public relations and marketing for Team Cherry, who spoke on social media. He simply explained that there was “no need to worry” and “Hollow Knight Silksong is still in development”. For now, unfortunately, we will not know more. So yes, it’s not a release date or a new trailer dedicated to gameplay, but it’s already not bad. At least, if we compare with what we normally have on the title, that is to say more or less reliable rumors.

We could still imagine that he was doing well. We tend to think the opposite, based solely on a lack of communication from the studio. In any case, the enthusiasm around Hollow Knight Silksong is quite impressive, and it proves to what extent the first opus has remained engraved in people’s minds. Fans want more, but they’ll have to wait a while longer. Will we know more during 2024? You know what they say: hope gives life.
