HoloLens Summit: virtual conference for applications with Microsoft glasses

For the second time, the VR / AR Association (VRARA) invites companies, developers and idea creators to the North American HoloLens Industry Summit. The virtual international conference on augmented reality glasses HoloLens, sponsored by Microsoft and Insight, is scheduled to take place on January 26th. The standard registration that is still possible is free of charge and includes access to all sessions, virtual company booths, networking activities and video recordings. The deadline for additional fee-based VIP registration has already expired.

Scott Evans, Microsoft Head of Mixed Reality (MR, Keynote), Darren Bennett, Head of MR Applications in the same company, and JP Gownder, Head of Department and Senior Analyst at Forrester Research, have been announced as the three main speakers at the English-language event. In addition, there will be contributions from a total of 13 personalities from clinical practice, aircraft development, marketing and other industrial areas.

The packed schedule records 12 meetings and a quarter of a penny for personal networking. The program begins at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends at 4:15 p.m. The topics include the role of mixed reality in a working society characterized by pandemic restrictions, the practical technical introduction in companies and current application examples. As part of the introductory keynote, the organizers will also present the “Use Case of the Year Awards”.
