Macaulay Culkin is going on tour this year with the classic “Home Alone” and will be answering questions from the audience.

The gingerbread and speculaas cookies are already back in the supermarkets and Macaulay Culkin (44) is also apparently already preparing for the contemplative time. The actor will tour North America in November and December with his Christmas classic “Home Alone”, as has now been announced.

“Home Alone” from 1990 is still one of the most successful comedies in film history and made the then ten-year-old Culkin a world-famous child star. In the classic, eight-year-old Kevin McCallister is “forgotten” by his family before a big Christmas trip and has to defend his house against burglars.

Even more than 30 years later, the film is guaranteed to be shown on television every year. The 14 special film nights now offer the opportunity to see the film on the big screen – and the now grown-up “Kevin” at the same time. Macaulay Culkin will be interviewed and answer questions from the audience after the screenings. VIP tickets even include a personal photo with the actor after the event.

On the The event website for “A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin” states: “Relive the iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from ‘Home Alone’ on the big screen, then delve into the stories and behind-the-scenes insights with Macaulay Culkin himself.” The event also promises to “learn more about his experiences on set, his fondest memories from filming and his thoughts on why this film has become such a beloved holiday classic.”
