To prepare your own spread without hazelnuts, you can use the recipe for cocoa powder spread. Very simple, this recipe requires only 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder, 40 g of softened butter, and a tablespoon of milk. Just mix the chocolate powder with milk, add the butter cut into small pieces, and whisk until you get a harmonious mixture. Place in the fridge for two hours minimum, and it's ready.

You can also make a homemade spread with almond powder as an alternative to hazelnuts. For this recipe, gently melt 10 g of chocolate, 90 g of butter, 460 g of condensed sweet milk and 120 g of almond powder in the pan. Easy, isn't it?

The best recipes for homemade spreads without nuts

If you want to not only do without Hazelnut, but also of all the nuts (nuts, almonds, pecans …), other recipes exist. What makes the chocolate spread without hazelnuts all its smoothness is the sweetened condensed milk.

The recipe is also childishly simple, since it suffices to melt 100 g of chocolate and 100 g of butter, mix them, and add 200 g of sweetened condensed milk. Once the preparation is very homogeneous, pour it into a jar, and let it cool, before placing it in the refrigerator so that it takes on a little consistency.

You can easily vary the pleasures, by making a coconut chocolate spread for example, with 100 g of chocolate, 5 cl of milk, 30 g of grated coconut and 20 g of butter.

You can even try all kinds of variations, adding a tablespoon of honey to your spread, or why not agave syrup.

How to make homemade spreads without hazelnuts and condensed milk

Chocolate is not the only ingredient used to make spreads. By using caramel, salted butter and speculoos for example, you can very well make fabulous spreads containing neither hazelnuts nor sweetened condensed milk.

For this recipe, heat 100 g of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water in a pan. When the caramel forms and it starts to brown, remove the pan from the heat, and gradually incorporate 40 g of butter, followed by 20 cl of liquid cream (very slightly heated) and a touch of salt (fleur de sel ideally). Top up with 50 g of crushed speculoos, then mix everything until the mixture forms a homogeneous paste. Here you are with a delicious original spread.
