Highly anticipated by all fans of real-time strategy and science fiction games, Homeworld 3 was announced in 2019 and was expected to arrive next month. Unfortunately, Gearbox Publishing And Blackbird Interactive have this week bad news for future players.
Homeworld 3 release date now set for May 13, 2024THE RTS will therefore be released two months late. A decision which was not taken lightly and which echoes the feedback from players who recently tried the demo, as the studios explain in a press release:

We hope you enjoyed this taste of Homeworld 3 during the War Games Public Demo.
It was amazing to see you share your experiences, discuss strategy, and give us feedback. The first time you get to see the game you’ve been working on in the hands of the community is always an exciting and nerve-wracking moment.
We recently brought together a group of players from outside our companies to test the entire game. This process generated new feedback, comments and perspectives, the results of which will be incorporated into Homeworld 3 to ensure the best possible gaming experience.
After carefully evaluating this feedback, we have made the decision to delay the release of Homeworld 3 to May 13 – with Early Access beginning on May 10 – in order to make the necessary adjustments to achieve the level of quality we desire. , and that you are all waiting for.
There aren’t enough words to describe the patience you, as a gaming community, have shown, and we will be forever grateful. We will continue to keep you informed of our progress.
