In its endeavor to operate all motorized two-wheelers in a climate-neutral manner by 2040 at the latest, Honda intends to launch more than ten different models with electric drives in different segments and performance classes by 2025. By 2030, 3.5 million of these will be sold annually – and the trend is rising.

Part of the electric strategy are commuter vehicles, comparable to scooters in today’s 50 and 125 class, which, initially in Asia, are connected to Honda’s own battery exchange system MPP (Mobile Power Pack).

To implement the planned climate neutrality, Honda is also relying on the flex-fuel E100 models that are already available in Brazil, combustion engines that are powered by 100 percent ethanol fuel.
