Salzburg’s young star Karim Adeyemi is in the immediate circle for the election of the “Golden Boy” as the best young footballer in the world.
As the Italian sports paper “Tuttosport”, which is carrying out the election, announced on Friday, the 19-year-old German striker is among the 20 candidates left on the recently shortened list.
The list also includes Jude Bellingham (Dortmund), Mason Greenwood (Manchester United), Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal). Most of the nominees, namely five, come from the Spanish La Liga, followed by the German Bundesliga with four players. In addition to Austria, the Netherlands (2) and Belgium (1) are represented outside the top five leagues.
