Honor launches its Magic 4 Lite, an affordable smartphone in the ultra-competitive mid-range market

Honor is taking advantage of this beginning of May to launch its Magic 4 Lite, a model that completes the range announced and presented during the MWC in Barcelona in February 2022. This Lite version is also the first to be launched with us, beating the pawn to Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro, which are being desired.

Rather than starting with the top of the range, Honor prefers to take the opposite view and launch its mid-range model. The Honor Magic 4 Lite is displayed at 349 € at the time of its release, which places it in the face of quite tough competition. Indeed, at this price there is the Redmi Note 11 Pro or the OnePlus Nord CE 2. Two good mid-range models and whose brands are a little more established than Honor.

However, the Chinese firm is not giving up and intends to take over the place left by Huawei. It starts with the presence of Google services, but also goes through a rather correct technical sheet. A 6.8-inch panel at 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 695 coupled with 8 GB of RAM, a 4800 mAh battery or even a design aping the premium. The only reservation is at the level of photography, since Honor has seen fit to integrate only one 48-megapixel module into its smartphone, a wide-angle accompanied by a macro module and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. An original choice when the competition offers at least an ultra wide-angle for the same price. The versatility that the Chinese company deprives itself of could serve it at the time of choice.

The Honor Magic 4 Lite is only available in one configuration offering 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It is launched at 349 €, but it is displayed at 319 € for a few more hours. An introductory offer that also allows you to benefit from a free protective cover. Three finishes are available: Titanium Silver, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.
