Honor will present its 70 series on May 30


At the end of 2021, Honor launched the Honor 60 series on Chinese territory, made up of mid-range smartphones and a premium model. Devices that we have not had the leisure to see in Europe, the company preferring to focus on the Magic series, the flagship of which, called Magic 4 Pro, has just been released.

On the Weibo social network, Honor nevertheless unveiled a short teaser to show the first lines of the future Honor 70. The photo island was especially highlighted, and the least we can say is that the resemblance to the Honor 50 and 60 is quite obvious. The part housing the modules has however been stretched and is more oval than round, as was the case with previous models.

According to the first rumors, the Honor 70 should integrate a brand new Sony 54 megapixel photo sensor. A total change from the previous model which had a main module of 108 Mpx. To complete this module, an ultra wide-angle and a depth sensor should be present. This combination should be identical on the three models planned by the brand: Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro +. Again, George Zhao’s company should trust Qualcomm. It is rumored that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, one of the new processors from the North American founder which will be presented on May 20, could be integrated into at least one of the variants. To complete the technical sheet, we anticipate a 6.67-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 4800 mAh battery and fast charging at 100 W.
