By publishing more and more interesting games, 505 Games has potentially become too big to deal with projects with a more “indie” approach. Maybe that’s why Digital Bros.the parent company of 505has just announced the opening of HOOK GamesWhere HOOK for those close to you, an independent label dedicated to more minor productions.
This branch will be based at the headquarters of Digital Bros. in Milan, Italy and will be led by “industry veterans” some of whom have over 20 years of combined experience. Their goal will be to find talented indie developers with strong creative visions to help them publish their games worldwide by offering them support for financing, development, Q&A, localization, marketing and even press relations.
The opening of HOOK was only confirmed last week, but the team has already been active for several months. It is already participating in the development of KINGDOM of the DEAD (Dirigo Games), madshot (Overflow), Unholy (Duality Games) and others that have yet to be unveiled. If you like independent productions, you will therefore have to follow this new actor closely.
