10,000 Hopium vehicles ordered by CA Consumer Finance

A few days ago, we came back to Machina, the “French hydrogen Tesla”, developed by the Hopium company. Today, on the sidelines of the recent Paris Motor Show which has just closed its doors, CA Consumer France announces that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hopium, for a provisional order of 10,000 vehicles, the production of which is planned from 2025.

For the occasion, the group is responsible for recalling that a hydrogen vehicle produces the electricity it needs itself, rather than drawing its energy from a battery integrated into the vehicle, as is the case with electric and hybrid cars.

According to Jean-Baptise Djebbari, Chairman of the Hopium Board of Directors, this will enable the group to strengthen its commercial strategy, with a provisional order of 1.2 billion euros.

In this way, Agilauto, the brand specializing in automotive sales and financing of the Crédit Agricole group in France, will offer the French manufacturer’s hydrogen sedan in ” within the framework of programs intended for its private or professional customers “.

Sure,
Hopium has already confirmed its intention to recommend the financing offers of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance to its private and professional customers.
