Horizon Forbidden West: A major update, bringing New Game+, has arrived – Horizon: Forbidden West


During the last State of Play, the one that took place on the night of June 2 to 3, Guerrilla Games announced that a new update is now available on the PS4 and PS5 version of Horizon Forbidden West. This is relatively substantial and brings new elements.

Currently available, this major update introduced the New Game+ (including new rewards) as well as an “Ultra Hard” difficulty mode. Which leads, of course, to new trophies. Moreover, thanks to it, players will be able to reset points spent on Aloy’s skillsif they feel the need.

Obviously, this patch 1.14 brings its share of patches, especially for several quests (main and secondary), the general stability of the software, the Photo mode, and many others.   • Skill reset functionality in the relevant menu.
  • New functionality to apply a different look, regarding Aloy’s armor.

Performance and stability

  • Improved visual fidelity.
  • Fixed multiple bugs.

Main Quests

  • Fixed an issue with progress in “The Sea of ​​Sands” quest.
  • Fixed an issue with one of the cutscenes in “The Broken Sky” quest.
  • Fixed an issue with progression in The Dying Lands quest.

Side quests

  • Fixed an issue interacting with items in the “Breaking Even” side quest.
