We are finally approaching the release of Horizon Forbidden West, almost five years after the first episode. The last project of Guerrilla Games comes out now in a month, and communication around the game should accelerate more and more. Sony today unveiled a new trailer for its next big exclusive, which finally highlights Aloy’s journey by focusing a little on the plot of this second part.
Aloy goes in search of the truth
We therefore discover a glimpse of Aloy’s new adventure, which will lead her to the forbidden West in search of answers to the past, while facing a plague that eats away at nature and a tribe that controls the machines. To help her in her quest, she can count on loyal allies, like Varl and Erend, and she will also meet other characters who will join her.
A new key-art, which you can see in the header of this article, also highlights all these characters, with the two camps well separated. The studio also offers us some screenshots to be well satiated, and wait wisely for the release of the game in a few weeks.
Horizon Forbidden West will be available from February 18, 2022. Pre-orders of the different editions of the game are open.
