Just a month from its release, the highly anticipated Horizon Forbidden West still retains many mysteries. Not sure that the (pretty) trailer of the day actually helps us. The pleasure of the eyes remains.
Chance of the calendar (or not), it was the day after the announcement of the surprise takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft that Sony replied with its large exclusive cartridge from the start of the year: Horizon Forbidden West. This is called the sense of timing.
What’s new on the Horizon?
It is therefore for three minutes that players will be able to discover the outline of the scenario which structures the new adventures of Aloy and her comrades in arms. The heroine of Horizon Forbidden West will obviously not be alone to counter the plans of the rebel leader, since she can count on the support of Varl or Érend.
Narrative director Ben McCawa took advantage of this new trailer to clarify his thoughts, and recall the official French version of this famous forgotten west:
In the next chapter of Aloy’s story, she will face a tornado of new threats: a plague that threatens to destroy the world, Regalla and his rebels, Sylens and his machinations… and many more new dangers.
But when she ventures across the border to the forbidden West, Aloy will not face these dangers alone. She will be joined by unknown and familiar companions, from the oldest to new allies like Zo, Alva, and Kotallo.
Horizon Forbidden West will be available on PS4 and PS5 on February 18, 2022.
