In Horizon Forbidden West you can find twelve flight recorders that are very well hidden. These collectible Black Boxes are located on airplanes, but they aren’t always easy to reach.
The rough locations where you can find the flight recorders can be found with the purple radio signal in focus mode. If that’s not enough, you can see in the video where exactly the boxes are.
Bonuses for the flight recorders
Once you’ve found all the flight recorders, you can take them to the Memorial Grove. There you can trade with an NPC who gives you raw materials for the black boxes. Turn in all twelve flight recorders and at the end you will receive a legendary weapon, the demolition slingshot “The Wings of the Ten”.
