A new update is available for Guerrilla Games’ latest title, Horizon Forbidden West. This is patch 1.07 bringing a good number of fixes for several bugs and technical issues. Besides, this update adds some improvements. Note that on PS5, it weighs around 781 MB. But without further ado, discover the patch notes in French.

Fixes and improvements

Main Quests

  • Fixed an issue that appeared when the second cable connector was pulled first, during the “Reach for the Stars” quest.
  • Fixed an issue causing the player to leave the playspace during the “Reach for the Stars” quest.
  • Fixed an issue causing the player to get stuck in “The Embassy” quest.
  • Fixed an issue with summoning the mount in a dungeon during the “Death’s Door” quest.
  • Fixed an issue preventing interaction with a console in the “Death’s Door” quest.
  • Fixed an issue with crafting the diving mask during “The Sea of ​​Sands” quest.
  • Fixed an issue that could take the player out of the world, in the quest “Thebes”.

Side quests

  • Fixed an interaction bug with Porguf, during the “Breaking Even” side quest.
  • Fixed an issue with the player respawning outside of the battlespace when there was a save reload during the “Shadow in the West” quest.
  • Fixed an Atekka inactivity bug during the “Blood Choke” side quest.
  • Fixed a bug with Penttoh’s dialogue during the “A Soldier’s March” side quest.
  • Fixed an objective update issue during “The Second Verse” side quest.
  • Fixed an objective update issue during the “Nights of Lights” side quest.

Graphics

  • Added smoother transition between different cloud layers (Tropospheric and Cirrus) and better coloring matching.
  • Fixed an issue displaying details for one of the Tallnecks.
  • Miscellaneous vegetation adjustments and improved image quality in Performance mode.
  • Fixed an issue with white lights flickering during the “Death’s Door” quest.
  • Improved depth of field stability during cutscenes.
  • Reduced progression artifacts, during certain close-ups.
  • Reduced saturation changes on motion blur.
  • Improved shadow quality and stability.
  • Improved grass quality in specific situations.

In addition, the developers took advantage of this patch to correct many other elements, in particular with regard to the performance, interface and stability of the title.
