Horizon Online RUMOR: 12 minutes of alpha gameplay and leaked artwork

Next month, owners of a PSVR 2 will be able to discover Horizon Call of the Mountainthen in April the players ofHorizon Forbidden West will explore the Burning Shores in the extension of the same name. However, the universe of Guerrilla Games will continue, in particular with the project Horizon Online, with the studio openly communicating about him to recruit staff in December. Well, the latter has suffered major leaks in recent hours, with on the one hand a 12 minute video of gameplay coming from the alpha of the game and on the other the broadcast of a concept art.

To believe the Reddit where it all shot and where you can watch the video (the post has been removed and can no longer be shared, but remains visible…), some Bearborg would have examined the alpha and would have unearthed there this drawing which would show off the unique visual style that the studio is planning for the game. We see in it a variation of Stormmaw being attacked by a team of five characters with rather colorful looks, fighting using rather rudimentary weapons.

As for the video, alpha obliges, many elements are clearly far from being finalizedwhen others are taken straight from previous games, with a character model without legs at the start, the interface showing aloy right after and even the main screen of Forbidden West. This kind of placeholders is nothing surprising, but is obviously never shown to the public in normal times. Whether it’s environments or useful avatars of varying proportions, the whole thing is much more cartoonish, but nothing says that the final result will be so cartoonish.

In short, it will be necessary to wait until an introduction of the project in good and due form to really know what the developers plan for this Horizon Online, which would be expected on PS5 and PC according to a leaked internal document. In the meantime, you can get Horizon Forbidden West on Amazon at the price of €47.49 in its PS5 version.
