At the end of May, Sony/PlayStation had confirmed that video game licenses god of warSkyline and Gran Turismo will have the right to adaptations on our screens. Besides, we already know that for Gran Turismo, it is a film whose synopsis is based on a true story, according to the latest information. On the other hand, when it comes to God of War and Horizon (Zero Dawn/Forbidden West), two TV series are planned.
On this subject, Jeff Grubb recently revealed new information concerning the series Horizon, coming to Netflix. According to him and an article on The Director’s Guild of Canada Ontario website, the adaptation would be named “Horizon 2074”. In addition, insider Jeff Grubb clarified that the events narrated, via the Horizon series, would offer two different timelines : one would follow the time frame of the games, while a second would tell how the world collapsed.
Also, according to the article on the site mentioned previously, Jack Boem, known for his work on the series The Boys, would be assistant director of the series Horizon. While Michele Brady (Saw 2) would serve as artistic director.
Here is the crew for Horizon 2074. This confirms the name most filming in Toronto. As I reported previously, the show will likely be set in Toronto as per conditions of tax incentives. https://t.co/J20WWdtRN6

Remember that for the moment PlayStation has not confirmed or denied the words of Jeff Grubb. So, nothing is quite sure and official yet. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know when this adaptation will be released and it’s a safe bet that we’ll have to wait until the end of 2023, at least, to find out. Of course, we will keep you informed as soon as more information on this subject becomes available.
