No luck at Tinder? Could be your zodiac sign! You can read here who has by far the best chances of a lot of matches.
Success at Tinder certainly depends on many factors: appearance, profile picture, the pet that can be seen on it … Age, gender and job are also supposed to play a role. But how does our zodiac sign affect our chances of matching? The portal "Psychicworld.com" wanted to know that too – and for once did not ask the stars, but users.
More than 4,000 people were allowed to swipe
The portal asked a good 4,000 people to swipe to the right 1,000 times on Tinder (yes, we also hope that the test subjects were appropriately rewarded for this hard work!). Then we looked at how many matches the swipe marathon had brought each individual and which zodiac sign he or she had. With this, all the necessary data was collected to be able to determine which zodiac signs got the most matches on average. H. who was swiped back-to-right the most, and which were the least likely. And we have to say one thing: the gap between Tinder-Star and Tinder-Naja is downright galactic.
1st and 2nd place go to Luftzeichen
In the "Psychicworld" data collection, the absolute cracker among the match makers was the zodiac sign Gemini: a proud 84 percent of their right swipes brought them a match. Second place also goes to an air sign: With 79 percent positive reactions, Aquarius apparently have a good chance of finding a helping of love on Tinder. While Cancer and Leo are still in the top third of the most popular Tinder stars with 74 and 70 percent matches, respectively, Pisces (65 percent), Taurus (61 percent), Aries (58 percent) and Libra (56 percent) surprisingly form only that Midfield – who would have thought that someone could even resist a Libra?
An earth sign brings up the rear
The four remaining zodiac signs performed worst in the experiment: the Virgo was matched by more than half with 52 percent, but incomprehensibly it was only a meager 48 percent for the adventurous, lively Sagittarius. And that brings us to the two most hapless zodiac signs on Tinder: Scorpios only got positive feedback on an average of 44 percent of their right swipes, Capricorns shot the bird with 41 percent and thus not even half as many as the front-runner Gemini.
We really have no explanation for the low match rates of these extremely lovable and attractive zodiac signs. But whatever? After all, real stars don't need apps and matches to outshine everyone else in real life.
