Emergency situations, personal stories and biographical backgrounds, the social environment, individual psychological requirements, affects and flaming emotions – for most crimes, investigators find a complex constellation of motives that somehow explain the crime. But of course never justify it.
To a certain extent, it ultimately depends on a person’s personality as to how high the probability is that they will commit a crime.
