It’s that time of year again: Communication planet Mercury has been in decline since May 29th, in the air sign Gemini. Until June 22nd, it seems to us (people on earth) that Mercury is moving backwards – and according to astrologers that can sometimes have a noticeable effect on our lives (more information on how such a retrograde Mercury comes about and what that means for us in general, you can find out in our article).
Especially in social interaction, with Mercury retrograde it can lead to disturbances, misunderstandings and “challenges” more easily than usual. In order to counteract this, we can specifically strive for patience, attention and forbearance in dealing with others during this time. Which of course is easier said than done – because according to Astrolog: inside retrograde Mercury can also affect our minds and make it difficult for us to have a clear, sensible view of the world.
