Horrible discovery in the apartment of a schizophrenic neglected by the health services

the DailyMirror returns to a miscellaneous sordid which dates back to November 16, 2021. It is a horrific discovery made by police officers in Hornchurch, in the eastern suburbs of London. The body of Sophia Yuferev, 37, has been found in an advanced state of decomposition in his appartment. Suffering from schizophrenia, the young woman had to take lifelong treatment and go regularly to appointments to receive injections.

A terrible smell escaped from the apartment

In mid-November, a new recruit to the nursing team realized that Sophia had not been in the office for weeks. A somewhat belated realization that failed to prevent the worst. Before alerting the police, the carer first contacted Sophia’s family who also had no news from him. Arrived at his home, the police smelled a terrible smell before even opening the front door. Once inside, they then endured a “powerful and unbearable smell” before finding the young woman “lying on her back in a white nightgown”reports the British tabloid. His corpse lay on the ground since weeks.

The East London Criminal Court report says she had not taken her medication for at least six weeks and had not had a care co-ordinator for ten weeks. Sophia had also not received her autonomy allowance since February 2021, either eight months without resources. Due delusions caused by his schizophreniaSophia had already fled to Siberia to join her father and then flew to Israel before being repatriated to the United Kingdom.
