Do you dare to pick up? Try your luck in our horror phone quiz!

With the advent of mobile phones in the early 2000s, the cinema did not hesitate to jump at the chance to offer horror films revolving around these devices. If you’re not afraid, dare the no-fault in the quiz below.

Recently, the feature film Black Phone featured a phone with strange powers, that of raising the dead. The latter will then come to the aid of a young boy kidnapped by a sadistic killer.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, the film is adapted from the short story of the same name written by Joe Hill, son of Stephen King, and first published in 2004. Scott Derrickson recalls:

“I had read his story over sixteen years ago while reading his book in a bookstore. I had no idea he was Stephen King’s son and I just thought right away it might make a movie. tremendous.”

“About a year ago, I was lucky enough to be able to embark on a new cinematic adventure and I immersed myself in adapting this novella. I wanted to return to my passion for horror cinema and Black Phone was a perfect opportunity.”

Six years after the release of Doctor Strange, his first (and so far last) foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, director Scott Derrickson returns to horror, his favorite genre. We owe him Hellraiser 5: Inferno, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sinister and Deliver Us from Evil.
