House of Money: Success series ends with season five

The popular series "House of Money" is coming to an end. With season five, the story about the professor is to be told.

A new strategy and revenge for all who have died? The fifth season of the hit series "House of Money" promises great things. At the same time, it is said to be the last, as the US magazine "Entertainment Weekly" now reveals. The filming of the final season should begin next week in Denmark, before finally shooting in Spain and Portugal. An official release date is not yet known.

How will the story about the professor (Alvaro Morte, 45) and his team end? Series producer Alex Pina (53) reveals to the magazine: "We are moving from a game of chess – a purely intellectual strategy – to a war strategy: attack and confrontation." Fans could look forward to the "most epic part of all parts shot so far".

New opponents for bank robbers?

If viewers had to say goodbye to one or the other character in the past four seasons, five new characters are to be added in season. These are played by Miguel Ángel Silvestre (38) and Patrick Criado (24). Pina said: "We always try to make our opponents charismatic, intelligent and dazzling." They also rely on figures "whose intelligence can measure up to that of the professor".

"House of Money" is a Spanish television series. It premiered on Netflix in 2017. The fourth season has been available on the streaming service since April 2020.
