Interviewed by the magazine SHE, Isabelle Mergault had made rare confidences about the place where she lives with her daughter Maya: a pretty house located in Pantin in 93. A property which she inherited on the death of her parents who were both in a profession medical (his mother was a doctor and his father a surgeon). “I broke everything in this house. Now she’s so beautiful” confided the 65-year-old actress before adding: “I have a gym with the most beautiful weight bench in the world. I have a sauna, that’s luxury. I have a very beautiful grand piano, full of cigarette burns. I have armchairs covered in red silk, boudoir style…”. A real cozy little nest for the actress.

In June 2023, the famous columnist of the show The Big Heads had also mentioned on the air one of his other properties, a house located in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, in Val-de-Marne. Suffering from an unusual illness, hodophobia, she was unable to travel according to our colleagues at France Sunday: “JI dream of going to discover Thailand and other distant lands, but I have a phobia of traveling. The unknown scares me… I need a kind husband, who will take me by the hand and take care of everything” she revealed. It is therefore essential for the actress to feel good at home.

A very proud mother

The director of the feature film Hands of gold released on June 7, 2023 (her fourth), had also mentioned her daughter, Maya, whom she adopted in Nigeria in 2010. In the show Tea or coffee facing Catherine Ceylac, she indicated with great love: “She is as beautiful as a heart, she is strong as a little chick and weak as a rock. She’s a mix of everything“.

Returning to her adoption, she added to the microphone ofEurope 1 in 2014 : “I started babysitting and then little by little we said okay, as she is with me almost all the time and the mother is really in difficulty, I said: listen, it would be better that It bears my name. It’s easier for procedures and everything“. A mother very close to her daughter with whom she lives in perfect harmony.
