The conclusion of Game Of Thrones may have disappointed a good part of the fans, the series is gone to remain in the annals of the small screen. HBO therefore logically planned to capitalize on its success with spin-offs, original or taken from other works by George RR Martin. The first on the list will be House of the Dragonbased on the novel Fire and Blood of the author.
A first trailer allowed us to find the cast, made up of Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon, The Sea Serpent), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower), Paddy Considine (Viserys Targaryen), Eve Best (Rhaenys Velaryon), Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole) or Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria). They will give life to the conquest of Westeros by the Targaryen200 years before the history of stark told in the main series.
A key piece of data was still missing to project: release date. Take out your notebooks: the first episode(s) of season 1 will be broadcast on HBO Max and HBO from August 21, 2022. In France, it should once again be SCO which should take care of the distribution as close as possible to that of the original version. 3 posters featuring a priori as many different dragons and eggs were unveiled in passing.
