Episode 7 of House of the Dragon delighted fans who had been waiting for the reunion between Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is remembered as being uncle and niece. Warning, spoilers.

After a ten-year time jump, House of the Dragon embarks on a new dynamic where family disputes rage. Episode 7 marks a turning point in the cold war between Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma d’Arcy) and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).
The serious things begin and the Targaryen dynasty splits into two clans after a huge feud between the children of Alicent, the children of Daemon and the children of Rhaenyra. If the calm returns temporarily, the storm is very close.
With many twists – Aemond who loses an eye but recovers a dragon, Alicent who plots with her father Otto who has become Hand of the King again and Laenor who pretends to be dead – this seventh episode begins an explosive finale.
Rhaenyra and Daemon, the return
And among all these events, there is an element that delighted fans: the long-awaited reunion between Rhaenyra and Daemon (Matt Smith). Although they are uncle and niece, the majority of House of the Dragon audiences adore this incestuous and problematic couple.
Just as many fans loved the incestuous relationship between Daenerys and Jon Snow. This tolerance for the incestuous relationship seems to be stronger for the Targaryen family than for the Lannister family and the relationship between Jaime and his twin sister Cersei.
The fans did not fail to share their joy at the reunion, the sexual relationship and especially the marriage (!) between Daemon and Rhaenyra. The two terrible lovers have finally found each other and will ally against Alicent and her allies in the next episodes of the inaugural season of House of the Dragon.
