House of the Dragon: good news for the Game of Thrones prequel


The Game of Thrones spin-off, titled “House of the Dragon”, has been renewed by HBO Max for an additional season, even before its official launch on August 21.

When a series gets an early renewal, it’s usually a very good sign. In fact, the series House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel retracing the history of the Targaryen clan, has been ordered by HBO Max for an additional season, several months before its official launch on August 21.

Created by screenwriter Ryan Condal and novelist George RR Martin, House of the Dragon takes place nearly two centuries before the events of Game Of Thrones.
