The cast of Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon has been joined by an Outlander star. Netzwelt tells you who it is.

Scotland to Westeros: Graham McTavish, known to both Outlander fans as Dougal MacKenzie and William MacKenzie, has landed a role in the highly anticipated Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon .
McTavish will play Ser Harrold Westerling, a knight of the Kingsguard who served under King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and retained his position when King Viserys I Targaryen took the throne. Ser Westerling, who is considered to be particularly honorable, is mainly concerned with accompanying Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and ensuring her protection.
Rhaenyra is destined to one day assume the rule of her father Viserys, but when a male heir is born, House Targaryen is at odds over who should rule. This will lead to a civil war known as the “Dance of the Dragons” that will destroy the mighty House Targaryen.
“House of the Dragon” starts on August 21, 2022 in the USA on HBO, Sky always offers the episodes in the stream on Monday night or on Monday evening in the linear program of Sky Atlantic. Those who would rather see Graham McTavish again in Scotland can look forward to a second season of “Men in Kilts”, which may also start in 2022.
