What is this Dyson brand vacuum cleaner?
The Dyson V15 Detect is one of the most successful models from the manufacturer. It is equipped with the Motorbar brush, effective on pet hair and hair. This brush also allows you to adapt the suction power according to your type of floor: rugs, carpets and hard floors. It’s up to you to clean it regularly so as not to lose suction quality. Unfortunately, this V15 Detect model does not come with the Fluffy brush, equipped with the laser. The latter has the utility of revealing dust when vacuuming, but is clearly not essential to the V15. However, if it catches your eye, the Absolute model is also on sale at €649.
In Auto power or Boost mode, the V15 Detect sucks up efficiently. Several passages will sometimes be necessary to obtain an impeccable result, especially in Eco mode, where autonomy is optimized, to the detriment of efficiency. Battery level, the Boost mode comes to the end of the vacuum cleaner in less than 20 minutes, while in Eco mode, count a good hour of suction. It charges in about four hours.
Is the Dyson V15 Detect a bargain?
At less than €550, it’s a bargain, if you want an efficient and easy-to-use vacuum cleaner. For technology fans, Dyson equips its V15 with a screen that transmits information from the particle counter. The screen shows you a whole host of data on the vacuumed residues in real time. The piezo sensor, used here to identify these particles, continuously assesses the dust, in order to increase the suction power if necessary. The device also displays performance and battery life information.
In terms of weight, it reaches 3 kg and quickly becomes heavy if you use it for a long time. But its good maneuverability manages to make it still pleasant to use.
