Gently clean glasses cleaning cloths

Microfiber cloths are a constant companion for people who wear glasses. If you clean them gently, you can benefit from them longer. That's how it's done.
They shouldn't be missing in the everyday life of a glasses wearer: glasses cleaning cloths. Those made of microfibres are particularly popular, but they need special cleaning so that their owners can enjoy them for as long as possible. It depends.
Delicate material
Since glasses cleaning cloths are made from a special microfiber fabric, they can remove dirt and grease stains from the lenses of glasses without leaving streaks. Due to their special material, however, the cloths can only be cleaned gently. A brush, for example, is not suitable.
The optimal cleaning by hand
Hand washing is the gentlest option for the fabric. The water should not be warmer than 40 degrees. A hand-warm temperature and the mildest possible soap are ideal. Then rinse the cloth under running water until all soap residue is removed. Allow to air dry before use.
The right wash cycle
The washing machine helps with stubborn dirt. But only wash the cloth on a gentle cycle at 40 degrees without spinning and use a mild detergent. Fabric softeners or bleach are not suitable. A laundry bag is also gentle on the fabric. After the wash cycle, wash the cloth again with water. Then let it dry on the clothes horse. Lastly, glasses cleaning cloths do not belong in the dryer, too high temperatures damage the material.
