If your child had a mark between 8 and 9.9 in the baccalaureate, he must register for resit. To do this, even if he consulted his results online, you have to go there, in the high school where these are displayed. There, his transcript will be given to him, and he will be asked to choose two subjects in which he did not have the average. These two subjects will be the ones he will be able to pass in the next few days in the oral to hope to earn the missing points. The subjects that can be chosen are French, philosophy and specialty tests.

How is the test going?
The remedial tests consist of two orals, one for each subject. They take place in the high school where the student has collected their results and consist of two distinct times. First of all, the jury imposes a theme on the candidate. He will then have 20 minutes to prepare a 10-minute presentation on the subject. Once the 10 minutes of speaking have elapsed, the jury hasa time of exchange and 10-minute questions with the student to assess their knowledge.
Once the tests are over, the results are announced directly at the end of the half-day. The student will be called by name if he obtains the diploma, otherwise, you will have to wait until the end of the announcement of the winners to retrieve the final transcript, and re-enroll in high school.
