In recent years, Russia, China and the United States have thus been particularly active in cyberspace, ushering the world into a new era that could be likened to a digital cold war.
In recent years, and even more so in 2022, tensions have become particularly high between Beijing and Washington. Faced with US sanctions aimed at isolating China, the latter is seeking digital autonomy under the leadership of Xi Jinping. The United Kingdom has also recently warned against the technological power of China, which could represent “a huge threat to us all”.
