Some women feel like they have a crush every week. For many, however, this is a somewhat longer – and sometimes very difficult path. That's it!
Do you fall in love because you like meeting a man? Not necessarily. Because for it to really crash, boom, bang, it takes a bit more than mere sympathy. The problem: the butterflies are often quite sluggish and crawl rather than fluttering joyfully through your stomach.
But why is that? Are there just no good men out there – or have we forgotten the true romantic feelings in the times of Tinder, when "love" is always available quickly? No, it doesn't look that gloomy. But these five reasons can trigger a real love block in you.
1. You are blinded
From utopian love scenes like this one. Because: No, most likely no hot millionaire with red roses will climb your fire escape and confess his love to you. Make sure you realize: love can also be a size smaller – without Hollywood fanfare! Then you will soon finally notice the cute work colleague who has been ensnaring you for weeks.
2. You are very picky
Of course you shouldn't be satisfied with the first person to come. But the fact is: we are all not perfect. No more superficial tinder swipe mentality. You have to get to know people in order to recognize their chocolate side – and sometimes meet five times to make it sparkle.
3. You are scared
Because you're worried about ending up like Jennifer Aniston in this movie scene ("Love in All Relationships"). Yes, lovesickness can stalk you like a lousy pickpocket. But fuck it – if you never give your heart away, you won't get anything in return.
