Paris organizes on Tuesday its major conference of urgent support for Ukraine, with an appeal to donors and the mobilization of some 500 French companies with a view to longer-term reconstruction. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Chmyhal is expected Monday evening in Paris, where he will be received by Élisabeth Borne, then the next morning by President Emmanuel Macron. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will intervene by video on Tuesday to launch the Paris conference.
It would be a question of his wife making the trip to Paris, but things are not yet fixed. Originally, the meeting was scheduled at ministerial level. And then, suddenly, two weeks ago, Emmanuel Macron wanted to invite the European leaders themselves. Too much…
