Google buys back your smartphone for up to 530 euros

You may be setting your sights on the Google Pixel 8a and its seven years of software and security updates in a few days. So we simulated pre-ordering a Google Pixel 8a, getting estimates for different smartphones, just to see how much the phone would cost us in the end. Here are some examples, assuming the purchase of a 128 GB Google Pixel 8a:

• Exchanged for a Google Pixel 7a, the smartphone only costs you 252 euros, thanks to a discount of 297 euros, which includes the 150 euros bonus.
• Against a Pixel 7 Pro, it only costs you 180 euros, thanks to a discount of 369 euros.

For the same smartphone, we also did the test using exchanged mobiles from other brands:

• Exchanged for a 518 GB iPhone 14 Plus, the Google Pixel 8a only costs you 19 euros, thanks to a discount of 530 euros.
• Against a 128 GB iPhone 13, you will have a Pixel 8a for only 137 euros, thanks to a discount of 412 euros.
• Against a Nokia 5 (sold new for around 150 euros in 2024), your Pixel 8a costs you 376 euros, with a welcome discount of 173 euros, helped by the included bonus of 150 euros.
