The change at the beginning of May is more positive! For what? From April 1, 2024, the monthly fixed amount of the activity bonus applicable to a household made up of only one person is fixed 622.63 euros (or 311.32 euros Mayotte), following the revaluation of 4.6% of all social and family benefits paid by the CAF and the MSA. The decree revaluing the fixed amount of the activity bonus was published in Official newspaper from May 2, 2024.
But the CAF pays on the 5th of the month the benefits counting for the current month. Therefore, the revaluation valid for the bonus for the month of April 2024 is only visible on your bank account at the beginning of May. And more precisely this Monday, May 6, working day closest to the 5th of the month.
The very complex calculation of the activity bonus does not, however, make it easy to gauge the 4.6%, since no one receives the lump sum amount of 622.63 euros, which is only one element of the calculation. so here’s a comparison of premiums before/after the revaluation, based on the official CAF simulator.
