Laetitia Provenchère, candidate for Large Families, lost her husband when she was pregnant with triplets. She tries to connect her children to their father.

During this new season of the show Large families: life in XXL, we discovered the journey of Laetitia Provenchère, a courageous mother who raises her four children alone. She manages Nolann, 3 years old and her triplets, Emmy, Lyna and Noëlya on a daily basis. A feat for this mother who is just recovering from a terrible mourning. Her husband died in 2020 following a work accident, while she was pregnant with her three daughters. The Provenchère family loses a husband and a dad. Little Nolann will never see his father again and Laetitia Provenchère’s three little girls will grow up without knowing him.

This is why Laetitia Provenchère has made a promise to maintain the memory of Guillaume, her husband. On Father’s Day, she sent him a touching message on Instagram. “I promise the girls and Nolann will know how amazing you were. I will never stop bringing you to life in all of us”wrote the mother of Large families.

Laetitia Provenchère: “Their dad was the best”

A promise she reiterated as she answered questions from her followers on Instagram. Without filter, the mother spoke of the father of her children and her fears of seeing Guillaume disappear from the memory of her children. “The girls will have no memories and Nolann very few, so it’s up to me to make sure they know how great their dad was.” she explained.

“It’s extremely important to me that we continue to bring it to life through the 5 of us”, insisted Laetitia Provenchère. The mother confided last year that Nolann suffered a lot from the absence of his father. Even if the little boy remembers little of his dad, he experienced such a trauma that he often mentioned it at school to his comrades. Laetitia Provenchère had decided to help him understand this ordeal with the help of a child psychiatrist. An approach that has helped the little boy.

If Laetitia Provenchère does everything so that the soul of Guillaume permeates the family, she is not closed to the idea of a new life one day. “Life is made to be shared. To love and to be loved (…) I know it will take time, to find someone who accepts my situation and my children. I don’t know when it will be the ‘right’ moment, it will always be too ‘soon’, but you have to accept to live, to smile and to love. Without ever forgetting anything”, she explained on Instagram in April 2022.
