Grouts are not the most pleasant part of the bathroom to clean. It’s not the easiest either. Unless we use this everyday object: a candle. This object allows both cleaning the joints, protect them and thus avoid mold and make them shine. The secret of this technique lies in the paraffin that the candle contains.
So don’t hesitate to bring a paraffin candle. No need to turn it on. Simply rub the joints of your bathroom with it and polish every corner. Result: your bathroom is completely clean.
Can we use paraffin in the house?
A real asset to have on hand, paraffin is not only used to clean the joints in your bathroom. You can also use it to protect your work surface. Take out your candle again to rub the hinges of your squeaky doors, windows or drawers. It’s quick and easy to do! Be careful though, as paraffin is easily flammable, it is better to avoid heat sources (lamp, radiator, etc.).

Several solutions exist to get rid of dirt on joints. Just like paraffin, clay stone will scrub and protect joints. Rub the joints with it, then rinse directly with clean water. Essential cleaning products, white vinegar and baking soda are ideal allies. Mix 4 tbsp. tablespoons of baking soda and 10 cl of white vinegar in a spray bottle. Then spray the joints and leave to act for at least an hour. All you have to do is wipe with a microfiber cloth under clean water.
Another tip to get rid of stains on your joints is the use of coarse salt and lemon. Cut a lemon in half and dip one half in coarse salt. Then rub the joints with it and do not hesitate to add coarse salt if necessary. Then leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse everything with a microfiber cloth and clean water.
